My husband has been seeing Dr.Roxanne DalPos for a year and a half now on a regular basis where he was finally diagnosed with bipolar disorder after 10 years plus. She is incredible, I have to say she saved my marriage and is absolutely AMAZING at what she does. She sees right through the lies,excuses and denial most bipolar people (like my husband) tell all the time for why they did or do the things they do. When dealing with the disorder its important to have someone like her that can call you on your stuff other wise your not the doctor for mental disorders such as that in my opinion. Whenever my husband has a manic episode I always go with him to sit in on there session to try to wrap my head around why in the world he just did what he did and I always leave feeling so much more understanding to this disorder I really know nothing about. When this happens she is also very good at getting us in ASAP to see her. To a normal person who does not have a bipolar mind the things he has done has left me to the point of leaving him, Dr. DalPos has a way of describing why they do the things they do so I can understand him better. Bipolar disorder has no cure and is an on going struggle for us both but I am so thankful for Dr. Dalpos and everything she has done and continues to do for my husband!
